Original leadership framework developed with support from the Rockefeller Foundation. The resources use stories of leadership, framing and contextual analysis, and training, discussion, and activities to catalyze and support social transformation.
Artist /activist collaboration to amplify the voices organizing on the inside and outside of detention centers, bringing together artist interventions and direct support for those urgently working towards immigrant justice and the end of immigrant detention in the US. Named one of ArtNet's Defining Works of 2020.
Served as Entrepreneur-in-Residence for GenderAvenger Futures Project, to uncover insight and present recommendations for GA to build on five years of impact to lead the U.S. to greater equity and aim for parity by 2025 in the public sphere.
Documentary and advocacy/action campaign about migrants from the Northern Triangle who travel through Mexico to the US. The project won the 2015 Social Impact Media Award.
#WelcomeALL is a campaign building welcoming culture for immigrants, by giving individuals and organizations the tools to amplify a more positive and affirming stance on their social platforms and in real-world actions.
An augmented reality comic book series to challenge deep-rooted patriarchal views in India and beyond, Priya’s story became a powerful voice in the global movement for women’s rights and a symbol of solidarity against gender-based violence. Named a UN Women Gender Equality Champion.
Young children -- Syrian refugees and local Turkish children living together in Istanbul’s rapidly gentrifying Tarlabaşi neighborhood -- collaborated on a creative VR project aimed at integration, using creative self-expression in an exploration of their situation as co-habitants of the same city.
A digital space for social impact professionals, designers, journalists, filmmakers, and students to foster dialogue on respectful, relevant and resonant storytelling and to shift attitudes towards people living in poverty as people capable and determined to define their own future. 2010-2018.
Regarding Humanity
This toolkit supports the design and strategy for impact in progressive social change initiatives, specifically for documentary or journalist video-makers and nonprofit organizations using video to engage their communities.
